Lights, Camera, Jump into Action!

Local filmmakers join with the Victoria Film Festival to teach kids how to make their own films!

Running June 12th, 13th and 14th at Centennial Square, JumpCuts is a great opportunity for budding filmmakers to discover the amazing and exciting world of film from such local luminaries as Patrick Godfrey (Bob & Margaret), David Simmonds (Screen Actors Studio), award winning local filmmaker and artist Scott Amos and Times Colonist film reviewer Michael Reid.

With some of the top local professionals in the film industry, JumpCuts offers kids aged 10 - 14 the chance to experience hands-on workshops and demonstrations where they can get creative with this amazingly fun and artistic medium, and find out how to create sound effects, animation, stunts or any of the other 16 film and new media activities.

Come play with cameras, computers and creativity at JumpCuts a festival for young filmmakers.
