Each year, as difficult as it is with so many great movies, the Festival’s films are juried and several are selected as standouts to receive an award. Awards for the Best Feature, Best Canadian Feature, Best Short Film, Canwest Award for Best Documentary, Audience Favourite and the Cineplex Entertainment Award for Best Short Animation will be announced at the End of Festival Bash on February 7, 2010.

The evening is also a great opportunity to thank the scores of volunteers that make this festival happen each year. Our volunteers are truly the lifeblood of our organization so any opportunity to thank them is welcomed. Please join us in our appreciation.

A special guest host will guide you through an evening celebrating the best in film and people with lots of surprises in store.

Tickets for the End of Festival Bash go on sale January 11, 2010. Seating is limited so book early to avoid disappointment.
