A $2 annual Membership is required to view all UNRATED films at The Vic Theatre (It will state on the film listing if a membership is required). All attendees must be 19+ to attend the Vic Theatre.
During the Film Festival in February, attendees must be 19+ at The Vic Theatre or 18+ for other venues (Odeon, Capital 6, Star Cinema, Parkside, SilverCity.) Special screenings listed as “All Ages” are the only exception to the 19+ policy.
Why you ask?
BC Provincial Law states only members of a society and peoples 18+ can view unrated films. The Vic theatre is licensed, no minors may be in the audience, this includes babes. (We mean in arms, babes in arms.)
Hold on to your membership!
It is used for both The Vic Theatre and the Film Festival
Memberships expire every July 31st.
