FILM + BEER + FOOD
Join us in the Phillips Brewery Backyard as we screen Guy Ritchie’s seriously addictive, breakout hit, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, sporting a seemingly flawless, puzzle-perfect script with the best in fast and fluid Cockney English rhyming slang. Come tumble down the sink (drink) and grab your jimmy skinner (dinner) on Saturday, May 25th at 8:00 pm as Phillips Brewery, the Victoria Film festival, and a local food truck bring you the first Movie Under the Maltworks event for the 2019 summer season! Put on your best chevy chase (face), hit the frog and toad (road), and head down to Victoria’s local battle cruiser (boozer aka pub . . . Phillips Backyard!) to let your north (North + South=mouth) enjoy the best in craft pig’s ear (beer), delicious in the nude (food), and a special surprise – all while taking in Ritchie’s hip, highly stylized, incomparably inventive film!
A film Roger Ebert called “a bewilderingly complex caper film” and Rolling Stone praised “keeps the action percolating and the humor on high.”
