Five Seasons brings us into the life and career of Dutch landscape designer Piet Oudolf, one of the world’s greatest artists who just happens to work with a living canvas. Creator of dreamy designs such as the New York High Line and Chicago’s Millennium Park, he has brought depth and texture to gardens that stay beautiful in all seasons. His visionary work in urban settings has forever changed what we view as possible in public spaces.

Director Thomas Piper drops us into Oudolf’s life as he recounts his most beautiful designs and gives us access to his creative process as he begins one of his most ambitious projects yet. His revolutionary approach to gardening is a marvel to observe, and I would dare anyone not to be overcome by inspiration after this intimate encounter with him.
