April 5, 2016
April 20, 2016 marks the third year to celebrate Canadian film with National Canadian Film Day and we’re celebrating at the Vic Theatre! With over 250 events across the country to celebrate Canada’s 149th birthday, this year has more than double the screenings of last year.
The Vic Theatre will screen 2016 Victoria Film Festival Opening Gala film My Internship in Canada (Guibord s’en va-t-en guerre) on Wednesday, April 20th at 7PM with free admission, as well as accompanying prizes to be won. Admission will be first come, first serve. Doors open half an hour before the film begins. The film is a 19+ event, as the Vic Theatre is Victoria’s only licensed movie theatre.
The Vic Theatre is located at 808 Douglas St., inside Nootka Court. For further details about the Vic Theatre, visit The Vic Theatre website.
