Littlefinger on the Big Screen at the Victoria Film Festival
Fans who have been left wanting to see more of Lord “Littlefinger” Baelish after the most recent season of Game of Thrones will have the chance for an up close view at this year’s Victoria Film Festival. The HBO series star, Aidan Gillen, will be in attendance for the North American Premiere of his new feature film – Pickups.
Gillen, who stars in and co-wrote the film with director Jamie Thraves, plays himself in a quasi-autobiographical meta-story that blurs the lines between making films and starring in them. Pickups muses on fame and life as a mid-range celebrity with unexpected turns and quirky storytelling.
This will be the third film Gillen and Thraves have teamed up on and Pickups will be playing February 3rd at this year’s Festival. Tickets are already on sale for the premiere which also includes an exclusive post-film Q&A with the duo.
