Victoria Film Festival

Become a Member

Membership not only has its privileges when it comes to the Victoria Film Festival, it’s essential.

In order to see a movie at the Festival, you must be a member. A basic membership is only $2, but to be eligible for advance tickets, invites to insider events and mountains of popcorn, check out the options below.

2017 Donor Membership Level Chart

Why membership?  All commercial movies are classified by the Business Practices & Consumer Protection Authority of BC, deemed appropriate for public viewing, and rated accordingly.  This is a costly process, and one that the Victoria Film Festival cannot afford. Festival films are often brand new or have not been submitted to Consumer Protection; therefore, they are unclassified and can only be viewed by members of a society who are over the age of 18.

If you purchase a VFF Film or Gold pass, a VFF membership is included.

Your membership – as a $2 purchase or as part of a VFF pass – is also valid to give you access to unrated films at the Vic Theatre until the end of August 2016.
