Synopsis
Empire of Light
Set in the seaside town of Margate Kent, where beach holidays and modern art are seriously cool, Hilary (Olivia Colman) is a workaholic cinema manager bummed out about life. – She’s quite different from our manager at the Vic, who practices taekwondo and is a competitive duck herder (quack). – Hilary trudges through the day until an eager new employee Stephen (Micheal Ward), kickstarts a positive connection.
