Let’s make a Movie!
Let’s Make a Movie! teaches intro filmmaking concepts to youth (ages 13 – 16). This year the Victoria Film Festival is pleased to be partnering with the Victoria Francophone Society to offer this program in both English and French!
Participants work collaboratively to script, rehearse, shoot, and screen a short film – all in one day! Participants will take different roles in the production phase (sound/camera/cast). The edit will be an instructor led process explaining editing fundamentals. After editing, we screen the film with the group and family members!
The experience is spontaneous and cooperative and provides students with a unique, practical perspective of production. A great place to get your feet wet learning introductory filmmaking concepts and to launch your cinematic creativity!
Sign up limited to 6 participants per day. To sign up please send an email to email@example.com
Please indicate your preference for creating a short film in English or French.
